The Wisconsin Senate Committee on Agriculture, Small Business and Tourism will hold an executive session on Senate Bill 119 on October 18, 2017 at 10:30am in Room 400 Southeast at the Capitol.

The vote on Senate Bill 119, relating to: growing and processing industrial hemp, comes after a historic public hearing on Oct. 10. Seven of nine committee members are sponsors of SB119 so the bill is likely to easily pass out of committee. Three amendments to the bill by Rep. Dave Considine will also be considered if a senator agrees to introduce them prior to the executive session, according to Rep. Considine’s office. If not they will be considered when the bill receives an assembly hearing, which assembly sponsor Rep. Jesse Kremer indicated was coming at the hearing.
