Sen. Van Wanggaard (R-Racine), Senate sponsor of Wisconsin CBD legislation.
The Wisconsin Assembly Committee on Rules has scheduled AB49/SB10, CBD oil legislation sponsored by Sen, Van Wanggaard (R-Racine) and Rep. Scott Krug (R-Nekoosa) for a March 7 floor vote.
The bipartisan-supported bills have already cleared the state senate by a 31-1 vote and the Assembly Committee on Children and Families by a 12-0 vote and are expected to easily pass the assembly before heading to Gov. Scott Walker. Walker had signed the first Wisconsin CBD law in 2014, Wisconsin Act 267, and has indicated he will sign them into law.
